Moving to Finland and from Finland to Estonia
Moving from Tallinn to Helsinki, Espoo or Vantaa – or coming home from Finland? We handle moves in both directions as a single order: the vehicle, 1–2 movers, ferry tickets and insurance are all included in the price.
- Both directions
- Ferry and insurance included
- Full load only

Estonia to Finland →
We load your belongings in Estonia, take the ferry to Helsinki and deliver everything to your new home in Finland.
← Finland to Estonia
We come to Helsinki or anywhere else in Finland, load your belongings at your current home and bring them by ferry to Tallinn or elsewhere in Estonia.
Across the Gulf, hassle-free
People move to Finland for work, study or family – and many come back a few years later. Either way, the challenge is the same: how to get furniture, appliances and personal belongings across the Gulf safely and on time, without renting a van yourself, buying ferry tickets and hauling heavy items.
We do the work for you. We arrive at the agreed time, load your belongings, take the ferry across the Gulf and bring everything to your new home – up the stairs even without a lift if needed.
Moving from Finland back to Estonia
When your time in Finland comes to an end, we pick you up in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa or anywhere else in Finland. We load your belongings, bring them by ferry to Tallinn and on to your new home – in Tallinn, Harju County or elsewhere in Estonia. Same terms, individually calculated price.
Where in Finland do we move to and from?
Most of our moves are to and from the Helsinki capital region – Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen. We also move to other Finnish cities and from there to Estonia; add the pickup and delivery locations to your request and we will quote based on the distance.

How does the move work?

- You get a quote – we factor in volume, distance, number of movers and extras – and we agree on a date
- Loading at the pickup address – the movers strap down the load in a clean vehicle
- Ferry and unloading at the destination – door to door and up to your floor, whether in Estonia or abroad
Which vehicle do you need?
Two optionsHow to prepare?
- Decide what to takeOld furniture or clutter you do not need in your new home can be taken to the waste station on request.
- Label boxes by roomUnpacking at your new home will go much faster.
- Pack fragile and valuable items separatelyLet us know if anything needs special care: glass, mirrors, art, electronics.
- Check parking and liftAt both the old and the new home – include these details in your request.
- Check the house rulesIn Finnish apartment buildings, ask the property manager (isännöitsijä) in advance whether the move needs to be announced and where the vehicle can stop – both when moving in and moving out.
What to keep in mind?
No customs
Estonia and Finland are both in the European Union, so personal belongings and furniture do not need a customs declaration (the exception is excise goods, e.g. larger quantities of alcohol).
Registering your residence
If you move to live in Finland, register your residence with the Finnish population register (DVV). If you move back to Estonia, notify DVV that you are leaving and register your residence in the Estonian Population Register.
Keep documents with you
Keep passports, contracts, keys and jewellery with you, not in the moving boxes.

FAQ
How much does a move between Helsinki and Tallinn cost?
We price every move individually, depending on the volume, number of movers and the work involved. Experience shows that between Helsinki and Tallinn it is usually around 600–1200 €; for cities further away, the price is agreed individually. The price may vary depending on the day of the week and ferry operator fares. The price includes the vehicle, 1–2 movers, ferry tickets, loading and insurance.
Do you also move from Finland back to Estonia?
Yes, we move in both directions – from Estonia to Finland and from Finland to Estonia. We pick up your belongings, load them and bring them to your new home in Estonia.
Can I book just the vehicle with a driver?
Yes. You then load and unload the vehicle yourself, and we arrange the drive, ferry tickets and insurance. This is the budget option.
Do you transport single items or part loads?
No. We only do full-load moves – the vehicle carries the belongings of one customer only. We do not offer groupage.
Are my belongings insured?
Yes, insurance is included in the price.
How does payment work?
For international moves (Finland, Sweden and other countries), 100% prepayment is required before the move begins. The quote shows the full amount, including ferry tickets and other costs.
How far in advance should I book?
The sooner the better – especially at the end of the month and in summer. Send a request as soon as you know your date.
Do you help with moves within Estonia too?
Of course. Our core work is moving services in Tallinn and Harju County and home delivery of your purchases with carrying upstairs.
